I love getting to know people from different countries, so I learn about other cultures and lifestyles. I am open-minded and love travelling. I think you experience more at the place you travel to by living at locals instead of hotels, so I think couchsurfing is perfect for doing so. As I am travelling on my own couchsurfing offers me also the opportunity to get to know new people as well as to save some money, as my intern budget is not pretty high.

During a roadtrip with some friends, we drove from the Blackhills to the Yellowstone and picked a guy up in the middle of nowhere in an forest in Wyoming. He had an accident, because it was snowing and the streets were very slippery, and was already waiting there for one hour for a passing car. So we turned around and drove 2 hours back to the next town to get him home safely.
