I'm an English teacher back in China and Mandarin teacher in UK and US lol. I do love discussing and learning languages and cultures. I would like to say, I'm a passionate, kind, funny and sensitive person haha. Born and raised in Chengdu, got a master in UK, I am currently working and studying in the US. I guess I could be a good guide if you visit my hometown and more importantly, I happen to be there lol. I guess we just live to know who we really are and who we really want to be. To me, I'm definitely still in the process lol. Anyway, don't regret anything you had done or hadn't done. You made your choice and that's it. Give a big smile to this world even sometimes it's a bit cruel and hurtful. Take something seriously but not everything. ;) I'm quite passionate about cooking. I don't know why but somehow I just hopelessly fall in love with it. It heals when I touch the food, cut it, put it in the pan, cook it and take care of it. The whole process is quite relaxing to me.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Well, believe it or not, I did host lots of people when I was in China. If you are interested in climbing mountains, trying delicious but really spicy food, visiting cute pandas, experiencing a slow and local life here, playing an interesting game called majhong and maybe having a badminton match with me lol, I guess I would like to accompany you lol. :) And of course, I love talking and exchanging culture difference with other people. It is always nice and brilliant to know something different and fascinating happening somewhere on this beautiful planet.

Bruno Mars, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and of course, SODAGREEN!!! Titanic, Batman, Superman, Transformers, Artificial Intelligence, actually lots of movies I love lol. Sorry, being lazy and haven't read lots of books and most of them are Chinese lol. :)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Well, it's just a wedding. But to me, any weddings are so amazing and just like miracles. Since when have we created such a romantic and sacred thing called marriage lol? And that wedding belonged to my best friend. It's really hard to describe how I felt for her at that time and definitely best wishes for her and her husband.

Hmmm, when I visit Scotland, an old gentleman told me that life is full of choices, frustration and happiness, all you can do is to ask yourself what you really want from the bottom of your heart and do it then. Be brave and sensitive. By the way, I accidentally see a sentence on the wall of a library in my university, use your head but follow your heart. I guess I like it lol.
