As far as traveling is concerned, long distance hiking is usually what takes me away from home. I've backpacked the AT and PCT as well as other shorter trails and am always amazed by the kindness of the people I meet along the way. At home I'm usually busy with some kind of art or woodworking project.

I like to travel (a lot) and enjoy meeting interesting people when I'm not out in the woods or up in the mountains on my own. I'd like to extend the kindness to others when I'm at home and able to host.
