I am new to Okinawa. All I can offer is a place to crash (sleep) in a great location (near the beach, restaurants, and shopping). I can share what little information I know but I have only lived here since August 2015.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to visit other places and be able to get to know regular local people I would not normally meet as a tourist.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I have read too many books to count. Movies: I love going to watch a movie when the weather is bad outside. Music: I like all kinds of music really, but instrumentals, soundtracks, and movie scores are my favorites.

Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know what to write in here. I would love conversation about anything such as politics, religion, history, science, and philosophy. No subject would be off-limits. I'm a good listener and conversationist. I think we can all learn from people with different perspectives. Oh, and as a teacher, I would especially love to share professional ideas, methods, and classroom strategies with other teachers.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can teach English as a second language (ESL). I can provide a loaner bicycle and a fishing rod and reel.
My Interests
I am the kind of person that will probably try just about anything. I love to bike ride, walk, swim, scuba dive, downhill snow ski, reading, visit museums (only history and natural history), education, movies, and travel/explore new places.
