CURRENT MISSION Finding a place for us two settle down, start a family, open a Restaurant! ABOUT ME The story about us is really a story about our relationship... we've been the center of each others lives for the last six years, and are so blessed with that fact... we met in Munich, and have lived in London, Paris, and Berlin since then. Justus was born in Stuttgart, but lived in Yokohama Japan for the first three years of his life. He then came back to Stuttgart, but went to the US for HighSchool from grades 9-12. That experience is still really important to him. Carmen's family is portuguese, and she grew up working for the family business from an early age. She lived in Munich for 20 years and always dreamt of visiting far way islands, living into the days and nights with freedom and love. We are both looking to start a family soon - we want as many kids as god will give us! We are spiritual people - but not in a religious way... We both love sports - Justus is a football fanatic. We love watching movies, reading books, and talking about the world. Justus is quite the environmental activist / enthusiast. We would both love to have our own garden with vegetables, fruits, and herbs... Carmen's dream is to open a restaurant / bakery, while Justus wants to become teacher! PHILOSOPHY Hmm... difficult. We want to search for and live for what makes us happy, be kind to people around us, and find our place in this world...

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING For now, we are just looking to surf, as we are going on a little tour of the world. After this voyage, we are very much looking forward to hosting people in our home!!! We are always open to give back... helping around the house, etc. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE We surfed once in London, which was amazing... we stayed at Ben's house in Camden, enjoying a few too many cups of whine, and sharing stories about our lives. We also hosted a couple from Brazil once in Munich - a great experience also!
