Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people from different cultures thus diversifying my own knowledge of the world and the people in it. I believe the best way to really get to know the life of a country is to be directly associated with the people. That is why I joined Couchsurfing.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am pretty content with listening to almost anything (unless it's very heavy metal or screamo), usually my preference in music depends on the mood I am in. I love watching movies that are artistically beautiful and deep in thought, although I am completely guilty of sometimes letting my inner girly girl through and watching romantic dramas or comedies. The same goes for books, I love reading 19th century Russian classics but I have also read almost all of John Green's books, so there's really no limit to what I like. If it seems interesting on the bookshelf, I will grab that book and read it.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I organized the biggest fashion show in Tallinn directed at young adults called Moelennuk.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Coming from a small country, I could refresh or renew the hosts' knowledge or what it is like to grow up in a post-Soviet country and talk about the traditions and history of my country. Since I study neuroscience in university, I can talk about science quite freely. Another great passion of mine is fashion, that is a topic I could spend hours on.
My Interests
I used to do the gymnastics and play the piano, when I was still living in Estonia. Unfortunately university life doesn't leave a lot of time for that anymore. I have substituted those interests with going to different talks and events around London. I also love seeing exhibitions (whether arts, science or something completely different), going to the theatre, talking about fashion and since I am an out-going person, I am no stranger to the party scene.
