I’m originally from the United States, and I moved to the Netherlands when I was 18 to study psychology. Since then, I've taken every opportunity that I could to travel (on a budget). I’ve been living here in the NL for 8 years already! I hope to see and experience as much as I can in life.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to explore the world and meet new and interesting people. I love that by couchsurfing, I can meet locals and see the city through a new perspective. Right now I have a bit of space and want to open my home to guests.
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't watch that many movies, but I've binged almost every sitcom on Netflix. I mostly watch comedies or light-hearted shows. I like to read both fiction (I’m in a fantasy bookclub) and non-fiction. I love listening to folk music.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I swam with wild dolphins! When I was in high school, I was on the swim team and one evening I decided to join for an open-water swim at the beach. It was sunset, and being Floridian, I knew that sharks come near shore at sunset. As I was swimming, I saw a fin pop out of the water, just a meter or two away from me and I was so scared. Then I saw another, and another. I stopped and that's when I realized that they weren't sharks, they were dolphins! Although we see dolphins almost every day, to unexpectedly swim with them was a really cool experience.
