Hi! My name is Kat, short for Kathleen, and I am excited to join this couch surfing community. I am a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, where my degree is in Special Education. I am looking forward to starting my first teaching job this fall as an autism kindergarten teacher at a school in PG County, MD. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have recently been exposed to a ton of generous and hospitable hosts and hostesses as I am traveling around Europe for 6 weeks. I wish to give back to this by hosting my own new friends at my apartment in the Washington D.C. area. Also, I love traveling and being able to explore new places with safe and affordable accommodations is a huge plus.
