I'm a (former) linguist, German and Klingon teacher, and Esperanto speaker from Germany. I love traveling and learning languages (I'm also and active polyglot), I love languages, Star Trek, movies, cats, Southeast Asia, good food and red wine. I sometimes play badminton, and am an outgoing and talkative person in general. And a non-smoker. :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm a frequent traveler, be it to conferences, fieldwork trips to Asia, visiting friends somewhere in Europe, or just to see new places. I'm a sociable and open-minded person, and I also love meeting new people, hanging out, learning from them and exchanging knowledge and experiences. In turn I can tell you almost anything you didn't know you didn't know about languages, linguistics, hieroglyphs, Star Trek, and teach you the basics of Klingon or Esperanto... or of some Southeast Asian languages.
