I'm Laura, I'm a 26 year-old Belgian girl. Last year, I decided to apply for a WHV in Canada. It was something I wanted to do for some years now, and I thought it was now or never. I've never experienced something like that, never gone to Canada, or on a trip alone. But I need to do that to be independent.

Music, Movies, and Books
Twenty One Pilots is my favorite band but I love listening to rock, pop musics. I don't read a lot even if I really like that, I don't take the time.. but I love Stephen King, or dystopian novels. And for movies, I love horror, but also science fiction, psychological, comedy and romantic movies.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I have a friend in Romania and last year, I've been 3 weeks there to see him and the country (I already had been there 1 week in 2023). This is really where I discovered I love going on hikes, see places and gorgeous landscapes.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've done Management assistant as studies in College, from 2017 to 2020. Then I worked as an administrative assistant in a primary school for 3 months. In 2021 I started as a customer advisor in a bank (Belfius). I was opening bank accounts and helping with cards. I couldn't find myself in this job, so I quit by the end of 2021, and in January 2022, I started as an administrative assistant, as a substitute, but since then, I have been employed on a permanent basis.
My Interests
I've been playing badminton for almost 2 years and this is probably my favorite sport. I bought a Motron Nomad 125 as a first motorbike, it was my first time getting on a motorbike and I love to ride with a friend. I watch a lot of movies, still have many classical movies to see but I have all my life for that, so I'm not in a hurry.
