The past 5 years I've been travelling abroad, exploring and eating my way through foreign lands. I was recently introduced to couch surfing from a fellow sofa surfer whom I met and decided to take a mini trip with. And now here I am..a converted surfer.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I've been unoffically couch surfing for a few years but not by the app, but by meeting people abroad and being invited into their homes. Usually family homes. I discovered CS in the start of 2019 after meeting a surfer who was staying with my uncle and ended up joining her on her trip. After my first experience couch surfing I realized it offers a unique opportunity to meet different walks of life and explore new areas through a holistic approach and by recommendations from host. A great way to connect with my global family.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I volunteered at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand where I got to take care, feed, bathe, hike and swim with rescued elephants. But traveling abroad and sharing energy with families and new friends around the earth has been a my greatest pleasure.
