Hi! I am Laurie and i'm from Paris in France (But I live for 2 years and a half in Montréal in Canada). I'm just a girl really open-mind who enjoy the life as much as possible. After many trips in different countries I have discovered that what I love the most is exchange with people from around the world. Also, as a hiker, I love a lot nature and animals. Mutual support and solidarity are importants values for me. Be present to others people, and maybe make a little difference somewhere. So I am for respect and tolerance.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I think this is the most beautiful way to travel. Meet people in their own culture. that's the real wealth of traveling. Being in contact with others people and socialize ! I already did a lot of couchsurfing during my own trips (without be on the website), it is always a wonderfull time. I met so many incredible people that gave me so much and changed my life. So, I wanted to be on the website to be in touch with this community.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love all kind of music and enjoy to discover new bands or singers. Movies: Hard question... love spielberg's movies and Ridley Scott's Movies. To be honest I love all kind (except horror movie) Books: lord of the rings, Tales of the Otori, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Children of Ji, Hhhh, the last ennemy... Also I read a lot about world war 2.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Dropping everything and deciding to go on a 5 months trip to New-Zealand and discover the country just me and my bagpack. It was a lot of nature, hiking, local experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a good cook and I like to cook for others. So sharing cooking tricks and food of course. I think I make some really nice French pastries.
