I'm an elementary art teacher. I love to travel but the cost keeps me from doing it very much. I love live music, supporting local restaurants and businesses, food, reading, movies, cocktails, roller coasters, being active, and making things. I'll try just about anything once!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people. Experiencing a city from a local’s perspective is much more stimulating than staying in a hotel and seeing touristy things. As for hosting, I haven't done it- Yet- but would love to!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love most genres of music and can be found singing terribly to almost every song I hear. If I don't have music playing, I'm listening to an audiobook. I love fantasy and thriller novels. I love movies way more than TV- comedies, musicals, and heists are my favorite. Huge Marvel fan too! Live music is so much fun- even if I don't know the band. I just love the atmosphere and people watching when at a live music venue.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I swam with a sea lion off the shores of the Galápagos Islands. I've been skydiving!
