About Me: I currently study Speech Language Pathology (part time) and I work with international students in Illinois (full time). I lived in Jordan for 4 years and I know Colloquial Arabic (عامية) and a little of MSA (فصحى). Though, now being away for 3 years, my speaking is getting rusty. If you speak Arabic, I would love to practice with you. Hosting: If I host you I don't expect that you bring a gift. What I want in return is just to get to know you and have conversations with you. However I know traveling is exhausting and I don’t expect you to feel social during your whole stay either.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Traveling is more about the people you meet than the things you see. I enjoy hosting because I love meeting people from around the world. Couchsurfing is not a dating app, don’t be silly
Music, Movies, and Books
I end up consuming a lot of Werner Herzog media, though sometimes ironically Lately I've gotten into Swedish films, particularly films by Roy Andersson and Ingmar Bergman
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Couchsurfing in Palestine <3
Teach, Learn, Share
I have taught test prep for TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, and SAT. I have a lot of knowledge and materials on these exams so if you're interested I can give you free lessons :)
What I Can Share With Hosts
Let me know if you’re the type of person who appreciates fresh flowers or wine or sweets. If I surf with you I can pick something up.
