Why I'm on Couchsurfing
My daughter is studying abroad. I am going for a vacation and we are traveling Europe. I think staying with locals gives you a more honest and realistic experience than a hotel.

I love anything by Karin Slaughter, Kathy Reichs or Patricia Cornwell. I like several types of music. I adore Gary Allen.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I'm pretty normal and haven't really done anything amazing. For me, flying for the first time at age 52 was amazing, and my first flight was from US to Denmark....8 hours!
What I Can Share With Hosts
I live in a rural area with a beautiful lake. I can share cozy lake restaurants. I can also teach you to bake if interested.
My Interests
I love to read, and Karin Slaughter and Kathy Reichs are two of my favorite authors. I like to go to wine tastings. I also like to paint, however I'm not very good. I love to bake and have a small side business baking for special events. I am also looking into teaching English abroad after I retire.
