CURRENT MISSION To learn by traveling and experiencing new cultures and people and share my culture and couch with others. ABOUT ME We live on a small hobby farm with cows, horses, pot belly pigs, chickens, guineas, peacock, 2 dogs, 2 cats & introducing my sons 3 cats to our menagerie. So if you stay with us you need to like animals. We love to travel and read. We like to hike and be outdoors. We make life an adventure and FUN!!!Cooking (and eating) is a passion, that is why I work for Weight Watchers...lol. We have 2 children and 2 wonderful little granddaughters, whom we adore! Currently, our son, daughter-in-love, and one of our granddaughters lives with us, and the other granddaughter is frequently here on weekends & when school is out. Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We would like to couch surf occasionally, but also offer a place for others to stay. We offer a warm, welcoming and relaxing environment. It is truly a place to get away, rejuvenate and center yourself. Also, a cup of coffee, hot tea or "sweet" tea, good food, and lots of conversation if you want it or quiet solitude if you don't. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have couch surfed in Austria and in Germany. But so far, we have hosted many wonderful fellow travelers in our home in Alabama.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Helped new life enter this world! Taught a child to read, Sky dived, Walked on the Great Wall in China, Scuba dived in the Caribbean, Hiked through vineyards and made life long friends all over Germany, Face to face with a moose in Canada, Loved... .....Life is amazing. I can't limit it to one thing.

I am a "Jack of all trades". I know a little bit about a lot of things and a lot about nothing. I love to learn about new things and places, I can share "stories" and any work around the house including cooking.
