If you are a host: thank you for being willing to open your home to someone and browsing through my profile. To my person: My name is Luca and I am currently 22 years old. I used to live in the German part of Switzerland. I completed an apprenticeship as an software developer and worked on that field for a total of 5 years. I served in the swiss military (yes, we do have a military and it's obligatory to serve) as a driver of a Piranha 6x6. While working became the daily business I started to think about what I should do next in my life. In the years of the apprenticeship I attended the school a lot and I wasn't willing to spend further four or more years study something in a university-like environment. Just follow the steps of the swiss education system is not what I want to do and since I am currently in my young years I want to gain some life experience. That's why I am currently doing an exchange year in the USA (somewhere in southern Illinois). I gained a ton of memories, lots of experience, and a second family.
