Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I've surfed, I've hosted, I've shown people around and gone to meetups, and it's all great! But it's been a couple years since I've participated. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and making connections.
Music, Movies, and Books
Radiohead & the other Thom Yorke projects, Panda Bear & friends (like pantha du prince) ... I also listen to the podcast "Meet the Composer" which I highly recommend, and have gotten into some composers I've discovered there (Nico Muhly, John Luther Adams) For movies, I like Wes Anderson, Whit Stillman, Woody Allen, classics like Death of a Salesman, 12 Angry Men... I also quite like the muppets. The Muppets Take Manhattan is quite an important film to me. For books, too many.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I was fortunate enough to be in Tunis during the 2011 revolution, and was able to join in the demonstrations. A year and a half later I started working at Twitter.
