My name is Maja and I am currently studying in Vienna, the beautiful capital of Austria. :) In my free time, I enjoy to discover Vienna (I moved here a few months ago!) with my friends, go swimming in the Donau, go for walks in nature, ride my bike, cook, take care of our plants and read. I live in a flatshare with two other girls right in the city center, near Karlsplatz. The historical 1th district, museums, clubs, university, central station, shops, everything is very close! Why I'm on Couchsurfing
For me, the biggest value of traveling is living your curiosity, meet new people, share ideas, discover new places. That is why I decided to try couchsurfing - you can travel more as it is cheaper ;) and get in touch with people who live their daily lives in your travel destination, which gives you a more authentic experience than being isolated in a hotel.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I hiked 900km from the French Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela by feet. It was an amazing experience, both physically and personally, I enjoyed the shifting landscapes of France and Spain and amazing evenings at the hostels. <3
