Hey! I'm new to couch surfing but heard all things good about meeting people and sharing cool experiences in new places and would love to be part of the community. I'm into hearing folks' passions and hopes are, love thinking about problem-solutions and willing to share mine too, but usually default to listening and pondering first (once I start chatting, there's no end). Happy to share more, but brevity is the soul of whit, so will leave it at that for now! Hope to connect soon, Mary

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
So I am looking to complete service work as part of my yoga and reiki practice in different places in the states and abroad - a range of service work from youth leadership development to donating reiki and yoga services - really, whatever there is the most need for, I'm interested. This would be a great way to help afford those opportunities to serve that I'm really grateful for.
Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Every day is a gift, they all feel pretty amazing when I'm able to keep that perspective in focus
Teach, Learn, Share
Will talk kundalini yoga and moon centers all day long!
What I Can Share With Hosts
Reiki for sure, love to cook (and clean, strange, I know)
My Interests
I love writing (poetry mostly and am working on a short children's book), have picked up surfing (you know, waves, but couches are cool too), but wouldn't say I'm any great shakes at it yet, just lots of fun. Always interested to do outdoor fun stuff, will hike anything to claim a beautiful view and am a sun worshipper. I always check out Cathedrals and religious sites in new cities too. I'm into all different fitness things from running to HIIT and lacrosse (former Stag at Fairfield U and coach for youth girls) too but hardly get to pick up a stick anymore and the fit-bit-jam is generally to balance out the love of delicious food :)
