I am from Guatemala, currently living in France working as a spanish teacher in a Lyceé in a little town named Decazeville. Want to travel as much as I can :) Nothing will stop me to reach my goals! I believe in real things: love (all kinds of love demonstration); family; friendship; animales, nature (which never ends to amaze me); travel anywhere (alone, with good friends or strangers, it doesn´t matter it is going to be good anyway); having fun; laugh about stupid things or bad jokes until I cry and my stomach hurts; dance even though i´m not a great dancer; respect and open minds are always welcome :) I don´t believe in religion; fake, shallow or rude people! Best advice: TRY.

I would love to meet new people, new places, practice my french and learn as much as I can from other cultures.
Music, Movies, and Books
Open to all kinds of music, I like to hear new music, go to concerts and music festivals. Definitely think life (or any activity) without music is suicidal! I like to watch all kinds of movies (foreign, independent, with a psychological twisted plot funny or any movie in french as long as I can practice my listening skills), but I like specially well done movies with great directors! I prefer reading in spanish specially if it's poems (which I think the worst mistake people can do is translate them) and novels, although I also have read in english and try my best in french.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Going to France by myself with a very basic french to teach spanish :) and about to start backpacking through Europe!
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn everything I can from other cultures (food, history, food, languages, politics, religion, traditions, which is the position of women in the country i´m visiting, and almost forget, FOOD!!) I can teach the same things or anything you want to know about my culture and also I can teach spanish and I dare to say I can teach some english too.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Share my culture with them, great conversations, I can make dinner and breakfast, and if I have the ingredients I can make the best banana bread and/or guacamole you´d ever taste!!
My Interests
Visiting and meeting as many places and people as possible! I really enjoy being in nature, but for sure I can have fun everywhere! I am truly interested in making my country a better place. I like sports and activities where I can exercise (if i´m not good at a sport it does´t matter, i´m still doing it). Any activity in heights rollercoasters, planes, mountains, volcanoes (bucket list: skydiving).
