I'm considerate, intelligent, fun and interesting! I love travelling and learning. I am VERY interested in local food wherever I go. And I have a great sense of humour. We should probably get married. I studied biology in University, and worked as a wilderness guide in Algonquin Park in Canada; I'm very interested in nature. On the other hand, growing up in rural Canada means I'm excited to check out the cities of the world! I've spent the last 10 years working in travel and tourism promotion for a Canadian winery, and there's nothing I like more than a good snack and drink in the afternoon sun.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
It can be difficult to meet locals while travelling; and isn't that most of the fun? Hopefully couchsurfing can help with that. :)
Music, Movies, and Books
I love books and carry too many with me, which feels especially pointless now that I always end up doing all my research on my mobile phone. I really like my Spotify "release radar" playlist, although my FAVOURITE is Motown and New Orleans Jazz. I'm not a great dancer, but you can't help it to those! As for movies - who has time anymore? Netflix series all the way!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I spent two days on a Crab boat fishing off the coast of Eastern Canada. That was pretty cool. Have done a lot of road trips around Canada and the USA, the crab boat was a good excuse to drive from Toronto to Halifax, via Montreal, Quebec City, and PEI (Anne of Green Gables country).
Teach, Learn, Share
In 10 minutes I can teach you to fake your way through a wine tasting convincingly. It works for me! I'd love to learn more about the food wherever I travel.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I genuinely would like to learn more about your country, and I can totally tell you a few good stories.
