Why I'm on Couchsurfing
To meet lots of lovely new people and keep the travelling dream alive for as long as possible, therefore money saving too! Plus I like to cook for people ;)
Music, Movies, and Books
I like quite chilled folky music and chilled films, classics like Lost in Translation is a good example, and road trip films are always good for inspiration too. Favourite musicians would include Ben Howard and Laura Marling, but will quite happily listen to new things.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I went snorkelling today (11/08/2015) for the first time- terrified of deep water, so for me that was pretty amazing! The fish were beautiful and it was truly amazing to see a totally different world!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a little yoga and meditation, but would also love to learn more too, the same goes for Spanish- I always need to practice, but am fairly okay so could try and help teach a little. It's always fun to teach and learn new tricks in the kitchen too and I will share everything I possibly can- mainly food but also hugs!
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can share happiness, laughs, smiles, hopefully some good conversation and cooking! I love baking so if there's an oven working that doesn't eat gas and you like cake, would love to share that! Also cook non- oven based savory foods. I'm vegetarian and was just working in a salad bar so have lots of greeny foods to share, plus pasta, pasta is always good to share.
My Interests
Travelling! Yoga, singing, dancing- all the fun stuff, but also relaxing, reading, wondering around places slowing scouting out the best veggie cafes! Art, music, museums all interest me too.
