Just a friendly guy with European roots who grew up in Los Angeles. I speak fluent Russian, having grown up with Grandma. Professionally, I do freelance software development. But in my other life, I write choral and piano pieces. Well-traveled, with family in Russia and Israel. One of my favorite cities in the world is Prague - with hidden underground nooks and crannies and a castle looming overhead - a storybook city if there ever was one! Also the film setting of one of the greatest cinematic works of all time - Amadeus! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Classical primarily, but I like to think I can appreciate any good music. Joe Dassin, Elton John, The Beach Boys. Basically anything with strong melodies, harmonies, and interesting development. Not a huge reader, but I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter series. There I said it. :)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I once wrote and performed an ode to a departed young uniquely good man and fellow singer.
