******I will be in South America (Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador/Galapagos) for the months of August-September. Lets meet up! Send me your recommendations! :)****** Grew up in California. Went to school in Colorado. Traveled for a few years. New Mexico is currently home. The more I travel, the more I realize 1. the world is smaller than it seems, 2. this connects people in profound ways. I have been traveling off and on for the last 3 years, so the luxury of a warm bed and safe place are not lost on me. I love exchanging stories over a cup of tea, or simply walking somewhere nice to see the sunset. I love any and all outdoor activities. I try to hit up the local climbing gym or yoga classes where ever I go. After graduating I worked full time as a plant-based chef...so I love trying all the vegetarian food of the world! Lets cook, chat, have a glass of wine, and talk about the human experience! Muchas gracias :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have met way too many people who say they would love to travel, but cannot afford it. I am trying to shift that perception by making my way around the world on a budget, while still making cultural connections and friendships along the way. I know what it's like to need desperately need a place to rest my head at the end a long day, and I try to pay it forward as often as I can. Some of the best learning experiences I've had so far have been sitting at a table with people from other countries, discussing all the ways we share the human experience.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I recently summited Annapurna Basecamp in Nepal. It was one of the most difficult experiences, physically and emotionally. But I'll tell you what, when I reached the top I knew a little more about being alive.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everything is okay. Sit. Be still. Take a deep breath. Be here now.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Vegetarian cooking. Yoga. Local climbing spots. Bad jokes.
