Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I originally joined to find hosts throughout Europe and travel, and it was such a success that I know what to bring this now and interesting way of traveling back home with me. I also would love to learn how to cook new things and see the eyes of the cities through the locals. My goal when traveling is never to 'tourist around,' but to assimilate into the culture.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music? Practically anything. Currently listening to Florence + the Machine. Movies? Anything from The King's Speech to The Matrix. Books? Chekhov. Pushkin. Bradbury. O'Connor.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I have watched the sunset and sunrise on the Red Square. Got bored one day and became an ordained priest online. Moved to Russia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach anyone who surfs with me or who I couch surf with how to cook foods I know how to make like Russian blini (like a thin crepe-like pancake), traditional salads, American classics, and the likes. I also can crash-course people on basic languages, as I have technically studied five different languages while in University.
What I Can Share With Hosts
A great smile, card games, photography.
