Hello, friends! I'm a university student from California. I've lived here basically my whole life m studying astrophysics and history (one reason why I love to travel so much!). Since I'm away from home for school, I can't host people yet. BUT one day I will definitely do it!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I really love traveling and meeting new people. When I was little, my mom used to travel all over Southeastern Asia to visit temples and orphanages to do charity work and I would join her at times. That was how I fell in love with other cultures and people around the world. I believe that there are no borders in humanity, even if our different cultures and languages give us distinctions. There is just so much to learn from people, and I want to see the world and the lives that other people live. There is just so much beauty out there that I want to witness firsthand ^^

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I survived a major skull fracture and perforated appendix. It was terrible but I LIVED :')
Teach, Learn, Share
I value empathy, respect, and love so I am very open to new ideas and differences. As an intern for a community resource center at my university, I have studied gender, sexuality, and sociology. So I try to be as open-minded as possible and I am always trying to learn more and grow as an individual :)
What I Can Share With Hosts
I want both of us to have a wonderful time and to learn from each other. I could always help my hosts improve their English or I could teach them a bit of Vietnamese. I can cook, and recently I've been learning more Vietnamese recipes. If they want, I could read them some of my personal poems or some of my favorites. I would love to share my stories and all the strange adventures that I have been on throughout the years. I also make jam as a hobby! I can teach you how to make jam :D I have made many different types of delicious jams
