Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new and amazing people. I've always valued being an open and accepting person and I love learning about new cultures and seeing new viewpoints. I studied abroad in Spain for a year and it was the most incredible experience of my life. Seeing the world from a completely different vantage point was just amazing. I don't want to stop there. I want to hear more stories and more viewpoints and truly be a part of this global community that is the human race. We are all one.
Music, Movies, and Books
The Alchemist Tao Te Ching Catcher in the Rye
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I studied abroad in Spain twice all by myself. If I want something I will chase it and make it possible.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I'm an avid dancer so I can show you how to dance even if you have two left feet. I love listening. I always have a saying that I will be the same relative person tomorrow that I am today, but I may not have the opportunity to learn about someone tomorrow. So I listen intently because everyone is a source of knowledge and experience. If you're learning Spanish or interested in Spanish culture I can definitely share some of my anecdotes. And lastly how about what I won't share. I won't share a mess, I won't share the dishes with you (because I'm going to clean them all myself), and I won't share wifi connectivity with you (because I live in the moment and not behind a screen). If you want eclectic conversations varying from metaphysics to the purpose of life I'm your person. If you want small talk then I may not be the best candidate :).
My Interests
I love learning languages. I currently am relatively fluent in Spanish and have just started learning french. Dancing. There's not much more to say here. I think partner dance is the most brilliant thing and it connects two people like no other recreational activity could. Nothing beats a cup of tea and reading a book under a tree.
