One Amazing Thing I've Done
I developed a synthetic antivenom for snake bites. It was really cool to carry something from the moment of inspiration to a finished product. I was at Sonar in Barcelona a couple summers ago at a concert outside. The DJ was using a sample of birdsong in his set and was unintentionally singing to the birds. More and more of them gathered above us. I looked up and saw hundreds of birds soaring and wheeling above us, dancing around just like the humans below. The DJ was singing to them and they were singing back and we were all dancing together. Really beautiful.
