CURRENT MISSION ***health is our wealth*** ABOUT ME ***accepting international travelers only*** after December 28th 2015. Please get in touch though to plan ahead. I'm off trekking until then.*** I enjoy working with plants and having dirt on my hands. I believe in quality of life in the sense that we need not age early and suffer bad health from working world stress if we can survive by working a bit and having many hobbies that sustain life. I try to embody this in my life. I will work a bit, travel and learn a bit, repeat. Agriculture and the ensuing industrial revolution have been detrimental to our human quest towards paradise. Why be tied to a job and bills? In this sense I thoroughly enjoy hanging with people who live by the governing laws of nature, not the free market. I am trying to recreate the idea of paradise wherein anyone can learn to plant and care for species for food, medicine and recreation anywhere they dwell. The next evolution for this would be to have these oases around the globe where everyone can benefit. It's happening as I type. Estimated time spent with activities involving food, growing, gathering, searching for, making seeds, cooking, eating, socializing with others while doing all these comes to about 70% of waking hours. I have lived in plains style tipi and a 145 square foot cabin in the past as well as a hammock under a tarp. Generally I enjoy roughing it; bathing it rivers, gleaning apples to eat, riding my bike places and sleeping in a tent in warm places during the winter months. This may account for my tendency to be more jovial when I am living a nomadic lifestyle, constantly moving and exploring. PHILOSOPHY "All I have is my planting stick and corn, if you are willing to live as I do, you may live with me and care for the land" --Hopi prophecy I enjoy living thrifty and locally but try to limit my rigidity as this would be somewhat hypocritical
