Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I used to travel a lot and couchsurfing very often opened the door to a new city or a country. I enjoy participating in everything that is involved in couchsurfing and hope to be able to host the same way that I have been hosted all around the globe.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like many kinds of music, mostly rock and electronic music. Latin America has had some (negative?) influence on my taste, but apart from that I listen to stuff from all over the world. One of my favorite books is >The Time Seller< from Trias de Bes, which shows the absurd consequences and negative sides of our system. Recently I started reading different sorts of graphic novels / comics, mostly the french ones. And I like movies that make you rethink things.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Renting a pick-up-truck from a construction company and driving it through 5 rivers in 1 day. Walking through Ashgabat. Getting robbed twice in less than 1 hour.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can try to teach you German, English and Spanish and am happy to learn your language or dialect. Same with guitar, ukulele and all kinds of drums and percussion.
My Interests
I am interested in world politics and diplomacy, but I am neither a politician, nor an activist. I love cheese and other good food in general. I play guitar and percussion instruments and I like singing and jamming with whoever is around.
