I like to be active in both body and mind. I love learning--science, cultures, languages, history, just about anything--and doing sports--especially football (soccer)--and outdoor activities. After getting my Bachelor's in Chemistry and Mathematics, I spent a year in Spain on a Fulbright Scholarship doing chemistry research. From July 2017 through February 2019, I lived in Morocco with families and people I have met here, learning the culture and languages. I am in the Netherlands studying my Master's of soil chemistry and biology, with the long-term goal of making agriculture more efficient and helping some of the small-scale farmers I have met and lived with in Morocco. I also love cooking and learning cuisines from different cultures.
Why I'm on Couchsurfing
To meet locals in places I am traveling to get a better feel for the places I am visiting.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Gone to live in Morocco with Berber families despite hardly knowing anyone there and not speaking one word of the language. I spent eighteen months in Morocco and can communicate in both Berber and Moroccan Arabic.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Stories, my cooking, doing the dishes, my awful singing.
