CURRENT MISSION Eat, travel, study. ABOUT ME I am a twenty year old Arts student at UBC and I am located in Kitsilano, Vancouver. I am studying anthropology and I hope to eventually study people and food. Food is a passion of mine, either cooking or consuming. I am not very good with words so I can't elaborate much further but I am relatively new to Vancouver but I love this city greatly. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING On occasion I attend meet ups but I primarily host, which I have been doing since January. This summer I hope to utilize couchsurfing in many countries across Europe! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Since January I have hosted plenty of amazing travelers all a unique experience, and all truly enjoyable. To me, couchsurfing is a fantastic way to share stories, opinions, thoughts and everything else, whether it is over dinner, a drink or just relaxing in the living room.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a small record collection that consists primarily of "indie" releases. I am a big fan of electronic music (house and techno primarily) and music from the early 1900s to the present. I enjoy documentaries and foreign films, often about regions I am trying to better understand.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I backpacked Central America when I was in the 12th grade with my Father; while there we met our foster child through Plan Canada which was a neat experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn about your language, culture, cuisine. I would love to share food with you, we can make meals together and at the least I can help show my surfers around the city (which I don't even know that well!)
