I live in Hot Springs, NC and am founder of Shining Grove Sanctuary. I am a 62 year old non-smoker and live on site as I build with my two doggies Bear and Amber. The site is primitive as I live in a camper attached to a 16x12 addition/library. Guests should be comfortable with natural accommodations. One has to warm their own wash water however the camper has a RV toilet. There is a guest room/tiny cottage being built for privacy and if you come to the sanctuary we will work to complete it. Room for bedding is in the library until then.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I would love to have occasional assistance with the task of building the Sanctuary. Changes in my health have required that I build a wider community to finish this project in order to serve the area. I offer a respite from the noise of the cities. A quiet gated privacy is waiting for one or more wishing to exchange labor.

What I can share with Guests: Pleasant non-smoking environment, quiet surroundings, open discussion of metaphysics and earth based spirituality. One room guest cottage as it is finished. Camping. The opportunity to help complete a sacred space for others and yourself to enjoy.
