I'm a Writer, Poet, Artist and Musician by Profession. I also work part-time in the Human Services/Behavioural Sciences/Health Care/Mental Health field. My specialty is Forensics. I am 1 of 9 and the eldest male. I was reared on a dairy farm in a rural area of northeastern Pennsylvania. Mother and Daddy are both Artists and taught me very well starting at a young age. I attended High School in Bavaria, Germany and returned to attend the University of Cologne in northern Germany later. I've traveled many parts of Planet Earth since a teenager. I've ALWAYS experienced firsthand the warm, loving, Sincere Support everywhere I've traveled. We didn't have such an internet and wonderful site as CS when I was traveling. It still happened ... spontaneously! Everywhere!! The people that warmly welcomed me ... for SO many decades ... into their homes ... I slept in the hay in their barns ... I am SOoooooo GrateFull!!! I am Soul GrateFull... I want to give back ... in Sacred Honor ... of those who helped me ... learn their Language... Customs... Culture... Values... Mores... and their local Heritage... I am So Blessed ... Soul Blessed ... to have someone recommend CS... I am new here. I am still attempting to build my profile to the % level where I can reply to people seeking hosts in my area...

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm planning a trip to Ukraine. I enjoy camping and have a tent. I don't yet know the language. I can only get 1 month off from work. I want to avoid the war there. Unfortunately, I don't think it makes any sense to visit Crimea - yet... I don't mind paying reasonable rates, I just thought it might be more fun and interesting to try out this forum... I'm perfectly willing to host, however, I've only a 1-bedroom flat. I'm willing to sleep on the couch in the living room and offer visitor(s) the privacy of the bedroom (double bed), however, I would need to get special permission for guest(s) staying more than 10 days. Although I can easily do this, there are other options I can introduce visitors to - I have friends and Family with larger space, no such restrictions and far more amenities who live very close and more who live in different parts of the USA...

I'm told I've done many amazing things in my Life. People who get to know me often say, "Robert, you need to write a book!" I'm working on it... I believe I'm Truly Blessed. Every day I wake up breathing is a Blessing... :) ... and an Amazing thing! :)

Oh my... This would be another long list... Cuisine! Cooking!! Baking!!! What Culture?!) I love to cook, bake and Sacredly Create Culinary delights! I also love to learn new cuisines, techniques, fruits, veggies, preparation approaches ... especially how to inject Loving Energy into what we consume... Again, ... there's more here... I return later to expand on this topic... I also know America quite well - especially this region. I have Family, Friends and relatives throughout the USA.
