Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I´m always curious to meet new people, get to know their culture in a special way and also learn some words in their language (or talk with them if they speak one of the languages I speak).
Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz music (mostly piano music - Hiromi Uehara is one of my favourites) I don´t have a favourite book, there are just too many of them (but I like fiction that has to do with travelling, fiction in general and also the occasional thriller) Oh and I LOVE reading books about feminism, which is a topic I find just so important. My favourites are from Jessica Valenti and Gloria Steinem but I do plan in reading The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir :)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I`ve been rafting and canyoning in Austria which was frightening at first but turned out to be awesome. I´ve also climbed a mountain for numerous hours just to then dress like a Greek Goddess to act in a music video film.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play the piano, how to play chords on the guitar and also the basic steps of ballroom dances. I can also teach you some easy Yoga and how to cook vegan dishes. If you´re learning German I´m also happy to be able to talk with you and help you improve your German.
My Interests
I started playing the piano 10 years ago and am also a piano teacher to small children. I dance latin and standard since 4 years and love to meet people who also love to dance! One special interest of me is Yoga which I try to practice as often as possible. I`m also plantbased and am always happy to meet other people interested in eating plants instead if meat :)
