A simple British guy from a small town in the UK with such a huge love for traveling and for the wonderful I encounter. I've lived outside of the UK for over two years, mostly in Vietnam. With each year that passes I want to expand my horizons and my knowledge, and to make good friends. My main objective of traveling is to meet people I can connect with, have decent conversations and learn from. Also for the gorgeous views, the interesting history and THE FOOD.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Hoping to experience a new kind of travelling and to make friends with locals, expats and everyone in between. I have used Couchsurfing meetups many times in Asia and have made some long lasting friendships. I've been travelling independently for a few years now and I think I'm a little bored with the typical tourist adventures. Sure it's nice to visit some places for the famous views, but looking back I always remember the good evenings I spent with travellers and locals, and the words that we shared. I haven't hosted much in the past because I felt my apartment wasn't suitable, but hope to put more back into the community in the future.

Love sci-fi, fantasy and historical fiction. 1984, The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, V for Vendetta, Cloud Atlas, The Prestige And of course being British, Harry Potter. Love a dystopian novel

Climbed to the top of Mt. Fuji with food poisoning. My best physical achievement (that I refuse to ever do again)
