Dreamer, Dancer, Traveler, Pediatrician, Yogi, Believer Hello CS, My name is Sevgi. I’m Turkish and recently moved to Houston, TX to pursue my dream of becoming a pediatric oncologist so I can help children with cancer anywhere in the world. To me, being a doctor means working in harmony with the body. I can support healing with medications, but I believe the real power comes from within the body itself. Cancer—and every human being—has a very different story of becoming sick: many emotions, regrets, past traumas, loss of balance, stress, toxins, even unspoken words. The questions of why and what’s next are always present, and they are what motivate me every day to keep searching and understanding. I’m also a big fan of Couchsurfing, which has given me the chance to travel the world since I was a student. Through it, I’ve met friends from many cultures, strengthened my belief in the goodness of people, improved my social skills, and shaped my personality. I believe that extending kindness to strangers—no matter the language barrier—spreads goodness, happiness, and friendship worldwide. There’s only one rule in my home: smile and be kind-hearted. And if all goes well, please “pay it forward” to someone else (this is truly my life philosophy, inspired by the movie). Thank you very much, and I look forward to meeting you! :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Because I want to learn about the Creator, and I know it begins with learning about what the One has created. If I learn about you, I learn about your heart. If I learn about your heart, I learn about the essence of humanity—and maybe one day, I will reach the Creator with purity and without prejudice. P.S. I only accept travelers with references and will not respond to local chat messages.
