NEXT STOP: ITALY I have been traveling through Europe for the past 2 and a half months, staying with friends, volunteering and making use of the sharing economy to have an authentic experience of the countries I visit. I am on CS to take part in a cultural exchange and make friends with lovely people who can teach me things about life, their cities and cultures, not just for a couch to sleep on. We can have a beer/some wine and have intellectual debates (or some light hearted conversation) I am an artist, specializing in illustrations and most recently handpoke tattoos - if you are into that kind of thing, you are more than welcome to page through my flash sheets! I was going to obtain my Bachelors degree in Theatre and Performance but decided to rather travel and have a more holistic learning experience for the duration of the year. I’m interested in a bunch of different things including permaculture, art, politics, philosophy, anthropology, reading, writing and all kinds of crafty activities. I was born in the Caribbean on a 46ft gaff ketch sail yacht (my family and I sailed around the world) and moved to South Africa as a child, where I lived on a farm and did homeschooling - a wonderful childhood in my opinion.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about South Africa and it’s intense economic, cultural and political turmoil hahaha, I can smash together some mean dishes in the kitchen and you could possibly get a lovely handpoke from me! I would love to learn about the culture I am immersed in and meet wholesome people whom I can share stories with, AND vice versa.
