Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I originally joined couchsurfing to meet cool people in cool places while on a roadtrip across the United States. Since then, couchsurfing has provided me with some unbelievable relationships that I am incredibly grateful for.
Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Authors: Hermann Hesse, Tolkien, Phillip K Dick, John Steinbeck I really like all philosophical fiction (Orwell, Huxley, Tolstoy, Rand), regardless of the philosophical or political leanings of the author. There is something really fascinating about having a philosophical opinion and then creating an entire fictional universe to illustrate the consequences of that opinion. Favorite Movies: I'm a sucker for romantic and/or stupid comedies. I like most kinds of movies but especially Rom-Coms.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Worked on a commercial salmon fishing boat for a summer in Alaska!

I love food and cooking. I have always felt that one of the best ways to connect with someone is to make a meal together and then sit down and share the experience of eating it. I would be ecstatic to teach you a dish that is close to my heart or learn something culinary related from you!
What I Can Share With Hosts
A book, good conversation, a meal, above average trivia team member. I love pretty much anything competitive as well, especially board and card games. Catan is the game that is really close to my heart.
