I am a Canadian teacher working in the beautiful islands of Okinawa. I moved to Japan in 2017 and have enjoyed living here. I come from a science background and enjoy teaching because learning is a passion of mine. My hobbies are traveling, reading, sketching, puzzles, skiing, and learning Japanese. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to experience places from the point of view of the locals. When we travel and stay in hotels we live in an isolated bubble and don't see the reality of what living in that area is actually like. I want to learn more and meet people and in the process share our stories.
