I'm Sophie, I'm from Phoenix, Arizona. I'm hard of hearing and I wear a cochlear implant. I know quite a bit of sign language. I love reading and exchanging poems, sometimes writing them as well. I love visiting different cities and walking through their parks and public spaces. I played soccer for many years, and fully savor any opportunities to have a little game and play for fun. I also like roller skating. I'm certainly not a pro but I like to do it every once in a while.

I love to meet people. I would love to bring people in as a guest here in my home at Arcosanti. I also love travelling and seeing how different people live their lives. I also believe in the importance of cultural exchange, whether it's ideas, spaces, language, food, art, etc.

I love alternative music, Taylor Swift. My favorite movie is The Princess Bride. I also love Captain Fantastic, Hot Chick, Napoleon Dynamite, Everything, Everywhere all at Once. My favorite book is currently called the Spell of the Sensuous by David Abram.
