I am a 23 year old spending a year traveling and working in the United States. I moved here from New Zealand in May and have spent most of the few months I've been here in Yosemite National Park. I love the community feeling within the Park and now that I'm finally doing a bit of travel further afield would love to find a similar feeling elsewhere.

I can get into a wide range of stuff at the moment I'm listening to The Arctic Monkeys, and reading Thomas Pynchon. My favourite movie is The Breakfast Club but that's the last movie I've seen so open to suggestions.
My Interests
I've recently discovered my love of hiking thanks to the last few months I've spent in Yosemite National Park. Hoping to tick off as many of the thousands of miles of trails within the park as possible before I leave. Besides that I love reading in quiet places, being at the beach or near the water, and meeting new people who have interesting stories to share.
