Hello. My name is Stu and I am embarking upon a journey of a lifetime in 2019. I am traveling this planet seeking adventure, wisdom and genuine friendship that lasts a life time. I am on a limited budget and I feel that Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet good people on my travels and also save a bit of cash too. My interests include mythology, folk tales and mysticism and one of the main reasons why I wish to travel is to immerse myself in the culture and myths of the places I visit. As a means to earn money on my travels, I am currently studying for a TEFL so I will be able to teach English. My main goal is to travel to Tibet and chill out with the monks there but my travel plan is quite open to change and I feel I will go where ever destiny takes me. I am looking to meet good people and long lasting friendship. I think this quote from a book by Paulo Coelho sums up my desire to travel. “I'm off in search of adventure...There are people waiting for me there. Although they don't know me, and I don't know them. But I am sure I can be useful and the danger of an adventure is worth a thousand days of ease and comfort.” See you soon
