Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love seeing new places, but really I enjoy spending time with locals. Growing up in Maine, I am very proud of where I am from, and love sharing my home with others, so I understand and appreciate others who are eager to share their favourite bits of home. My best travels are always when I get to know fun locals! Lopez shares a lot of similarities with my home in Maine and I love being here and enjoying the lifestyle.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading. Some favourites: The Lord of the Rings trilogy by Tolkien; The Space Trilogy by CS Lewis; The Three Body Problem by Liu Cixin. I enjoy movies: weird ones. Korean, Fantasy, Indie, and of course the occasional action/thriller/shoot-em-up. Music tastes have changed for me a lot! Three different favourite tastes: Gregory Porter, Jon Hopkins, and The Head and the Heart.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I’ve shipwrecked off the coast of Scotland. Once I wore a pair of swimming goggles around my neck for three months (yeah, I was that kid). I have crashed a motorbike in a foreign country. I’ve visited all 50 states.

What I Can Share With Hosts
I love hearing people's stories. I love the Couchsurfing community's ability to bring down walls and help us be "human" together. I hope we can be human together. :) I want to share a meal; make a mutual friend; bless a stranger's day; or maybe just laugh at how silly we all are.
My Interests
I love the outdoors. hiking, camping, etc. I play guitar decently well, piano poorly. Always down to jam with other musicians. I'm not a great artist excluding music, but I appreciate those other forms of art and welcome all artists!
