Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have been lucky enough to meet and stay with some great people over the years and I would like to return the favour to any travellers. Having small children and being a single parent I have been limited by time and budget. If I can get away it is usually budget travel and staying in hostels. Couchsurfing was suggested to me when I was planning a trip to Stockholm so I joined up but have not used it yet.
Music, Movies, and Books
Love travelling, art, architecture and dance music Love Europe and aim to visit most of the major capitals Have many years of European Music festivals (mostly Belgium)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Coasteering was pretty good and last year I climbed Mount Snowdon with my boys. Generally I like to go outside my comfort zone to fight the lethagy of age.
Teach, Learn, Share
I coach kids rugby at a local club and have always enjoyed boring my children with diagrams
What I Can Share With Hosts
A nice house and a generous spirit. I don't mind playing taxi as I am in a small town away from the more glamourous attractions. Princes Risborough is between the larger towns of High Wycombe and Aylesbury and on the train line between London and Birmingham so has good travel connections. It is also on the edge of the Chiltern Hills which are very beautiful. There is a National trail near the town (The Ridgeway) and I can drop and pick up in Oxford which is 25 mins by car.
