Hi I'm Vera, very active in CS a few years back and not so active in past 1-2 years due to date/ marriage, also moving between countries(Singapore & China)...Now everything starts to settle down - married, moved back to China, start to have my own apartment, time to be back to this community:) My professional territory is marketing and my husband Feng works as an electronic engineer. For me, - I like to learn new things, so I really like meeting people from different background and have interesting conversation. Hosting people or traveling both work very good for me. - I love good food / Movie. My husband cook sometimes, and we have a big TV which can download movies :) - [For My Guest to Read] Pls also note I can guide guest where to go, what to see, but probably won't be able to accompany along the way... I'm quite a home person... even just reading at home.. I can give u key/WIFI and suggestions :) For my husband, - He is very good at painting(quite interesting for an "engineer" to have this talent, ha? ). - He likes to cook and learn how to cook different dishes. His mom is a genius at cooking and I think he inherited this talent ^_^ Good food not only coming from skill, but also thinking/heart. He always uses his "engineer" thinking in cooking, like "how to bring out best test of ingredient of XXX". - One heads up he doesn't speak English that fluent, so eat his food, talk with me (Joking :) )

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing has helped on my travel in past a few years. Meeting local people, learn local culture, also save some money. Now when I have my own apartment, I can use my 2nd bedroom to do the same to this community.
Music, Movies, and Books
I only listen to light music that don't even hv name... like sea sound, forest sound, or rain... Movie, i love all good ones. Books, recently quite into wealth management/investment :)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Naked run in Snow (30 degree below 0) in Lapland winter, after taking a sweaty sauna ^_^ And of course also see the northern polar light! Cold to death... Life long memory, haha!

Teach - Can teach madarin, that's what i do as a part-time job when i was in university Learn - anything interesting:) New language, dance, new culture... too many... even normal life in your country is good! i'm always curious ^_^ Share - All the experience in past 24 years and all the ideas/perspectives towards world
What I Can Share With Hosts
Before talking about offerings, just want to say I'm an extremely easy going person... If u like to talk, we talk; If u prefer to be alone, I can be like air... Talking about offerings, I can think of below 3 (maybe some more i can't think of now...) - 1) Sharing stories about travelling through India, Sweden, Taiwan, Hongkong, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore; 2) Cleaning :) I always try to help clean dishes and apartment when i am surfing someone's home. A bit thanks within my capability :)
