Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I plan on traveling and want to experience the culture and meet locals. I live less than 20 miles from NYC. I want to give back to the community. Also, travels may be surprised to find a two hundred year old house in the middle of Bergen County, NJ.

I have an eclectic taste in music. My favorite was the Seattle scene in the 90's. I like all sorts of music: from Van Morrison to Pearl Jam.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I carried my friend out of the woods after a nasty fall and broken bones. I adopted my dog from a shelter in Newark.

Mass transit is easy in this area. You can get anywhere you need in NJ or NYC. Use Uber to get rides to and from trains/buses.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I grew up in NJ and know my way around NYC. I have also traveled to about 25 states and 11 countries. I also have great WiFi that covers my whole property.
