I'm a new transplant in Tokyo trying to better understand Asian culture by immersing myself in it, starting in Japan! I love exchanging fond memories, expanding my horizons, and getting outside! Trying to live the best, most positive life possible and looking to meet others with similar perspectives.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'd like to make connections while abroad that I can maintain while living in Japan, and after I return home to the U.S.! There's nothing like getting to know a foreign country and culture than to interact with its locals.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Electric Guest, The 1975, Eric Prydz, Two Feet, Blackbear, Lauv, Ed Sheeran, Madeon, and the list goes on... Movies: too hard to choose a favorite, but anything hilarious, thrilling but not horrifying, or digitally impressive. Current read: A Man Called Ove
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Volunteering at a therapeutic horse back riding center was both rewarding and therapeutic for me, as I got to know many beautiful people and horses.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Stories about my unique upbringing, traveling, giving back, and transitioning from one culture to the next.... most of all, I'd like to share as much kindness as possible. The world needs more of it.
