I study art history in Warsaw, Poland. I like to be busy and learn new things all the time ;) PLEASE NOTE THAT I don't use couchsurfing for dating. If that's what you're looking for, I wish you good luck finding someone else. To my mind, travelling is all about meeting new people and broading the horizons. It is very important for me to listen and discover other perspectives to be able to see the present in a new light.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
As I started to travel alone more often, I look for open-minded companions, ready for new experiences and willing to exchange ideas. Don't hesitate to text me if you happen to be in Warsaw. Although I'm not currently able to accept guests, I'm eager to show you around or just meet up for a little chat. Also, I'll be happy to take you to local art galleries or interesting exhibitions.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music Polish folk music, especially the white voice (biały śpiew) - a traditional singing technique typical of Estern Europe; classical (piano mainly)... These are my basics. I search for new inspirations all the time. Check out my spotify: https://open.spotify.com/user/1176217464?si=TU5v12h-Q76ZLzSM0qwVvQ Movies I like movies that bring some food for thought. Ones that I recall and rewatch most often are "8 and a half", "La grande bellezza", "Hiroshima mon amour", "Persona" and "Le sel de la terre". Also, I'm a great fan of Wes Anderson's movies. My favourite is "Fantastic Mr. Fox". Beside the visual aspects (which are so distinctive of his art), I admire the way he builds his characters and relations between them. I hate horror movies and romantic comedies (with some exceptions, of course). Books I read quite a lot about art and art history, mainly for school, but I really enjoy that. On top of that, I read everything that falls into my hands. My favourite novels are "Too Loud a Solitude" by Bohumil Hrabal, "The Fall" by Albert Camus and "Trans-Atlantic" by Witold Gombrowicz.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you the basics of Polish cuisine and share my favourite recipes. In exchange I'd love learn some of yours! Another thing I may share with you is my collection of traditional Polish folk songs. As most of them are polyphonic, I can teach you different voices and we can try to sing together :)
What I Can Share With Hosts
Food preparation skills, Polish recipes and songs, a pair of helping hands and an open mind :)
